About Me
Currently living in White River Junction, VT, USA; my belief can probably be best described as eclectic paganism - a little bit of everything! For years I tended to worship only female goddesses (that is a very long story!); however, I now lean toward the male and female aspect of divinity, which makes more and more sense as I get older. I have three daughters and one son, together they have given me 10 grandchildren, all of which are raised in pagan beliefs. My husband, Jim, and I recently found out just how Scottish he was (MacLaine of LochBuie!) and I am Cunningham/Colvin; we both embrace these roots and incorporate them into our rituals.

I am a mathematician and computer scientist. I was born in New York in 19471 My parents were immigrants from Argentina. In 1965 I returned to Buenos Aires where I studied mathematics at the University of Buenos Aires. After graduating I worked for IBM and as a professor in the Faculty of Sciences. Having begun in the late 1960s, I made important contributions to algorithmic information theory and meta-mathematics, in particular an incompleteness theorem similar in spirit to the incompleteness theorem of Gödel and now working on registryfix . In 1995 I received the degree of Doctor of Science honoris-causa from the University of Maine. In 2002 I received the title of honorary professor from the University of Buenos Aires in Argentina, where my parents were born and where I spent part of my youth. I am a member of the Research Center team of IBM and also Visiting Professor at the Department of Computer Science, University of Auckland, and the International Committee of the Institute of Complex Systems Valparaiso. |
